Approximately 66,000 employees of the institutions of the European Union will receive another increase in wages from April.
This is the seventh increase in remuneration since the beginning of 2022, Bild writes. This time they will receive “remnants” for 2024 in the amount of 1.2% of wages (most of the allowances – 7.3% – already paid).
The minimum basic wage of Euroclasses will also increase – even without taxable manuals, it will grow from 3 thousand 361 to 3 thousand 645 euros. The maximum wage will increase from 23 thousand 262 to 25 thousand 229 euros.
Members of the European Commission will also benefit from an increase. The main salary of the chairman of Ursula -Fon -er Lain will increase by more than 2 thousand 700 euros and will reach about 34 thousand 800 euros per month. European commissars will receive about 28 thousand 400 euros – for 2 thousand 200 euros more than before.
EU officials receive a salary in a completely opaque formula. The idea is that the calculations include inflation in Brussels and Luxembourg, as well as the dynamics of wages in state services of the EU member states. Typically, wages increase once a year, but from high inflation it has changed in recent years, and now wages are increasing every 6 months.
