Today – “a completely different situation than World War II,” said Donald Trump’s special representative.

Special US president Stephen Witkoff believes that Russian Federation leader Vladimir Putin, they say, “has no intention of getting all Europe.” He said this in an interview with Fox News on Sunday, March 23.

“I just don’t see Putin occupy all Europe. It’s a completely different situation than World War II,” said Whitkoff, who noticed that NATO did not exist.

The comment was made on the eve of GIDD negotiations. On Sunday, March 23, the US delegation met in Saudi Arabia with Ukrainian officials to discuss a possible slight stop between Ukrain and Russia. On Monday, March 24, United States and Russia officials should hold their negotiations.

“I feel like he wants peace,” Whitkoff said. “I think on Monday in Saudi Arabia you will see the real development, especially about the stopping between the two countries in the Black Sea,” he added.

In his opinion, after that there must be a “natural move to complete fire cessation.”

Earlier, in an interview with Takera Karlson, published on March 21, the special US representative said he would not consider Putin a “bad person.”

The American official also claimed that after an attempt at Donald Trump on July 13, 2024, Putin prayed him to Batler (Pennsylvania). According to him, the head of Russia visited the local church, met with his priest and prayed for Trump.

In addition, Whitkoff said Putin ordered a picture of Trump from the Russian artist. During a special representative in Moscow, the Russian leader asked him to convey the picture to the US president. This gesture, according to Whitkoff, held Trump.

He also noted that Donald Trump sent a signal to Vladimir Putin that they were “two great leaders” to find a way together.

Earlier, President Vladimir Zelensky admitted that territorial issues were at the table of future peace negotiations at the end of the war in Ukraine. But he assured that Ukraine would not go recognizing the temporary occupied Russian territories. This is the “red line”, emphasizing the head of the state.

In this regard, United States Secretary Marco Rubio said Ukraine and Russia should prepare for complex decisions to complete the war.
