The Turkey’s internal work minister said the authorities found 326 accounts on social networks that motivated hate, 72 overseas.

Social Network X, owned by the Ilon Mask, has suspended the work of many opposition numbers in Turkey. Politico reported it.

The suspension of the accounts took place after this major demonstration caused by the arrest earlier this week by the major political rival of Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, mayor of Imbul Ekrem Imamoglu. Imamoglu was arrested for hours before being appointed as a presidential candidate from the main opposition of the Republican People’s Party (CHP).

The protests of the opposition spread, despite the government’s prohibition holding meetings for four days.

A significant part of the opposition’s activity was concentrated around the universities, and many of those associated with demonstrations today have discovered that their X-profiles have been blocked.

It is noted that most of the blocked accounts are “accounts of activists related to universities, which primarily shared information about protests, areas where students can go,” said the coordinator and analyst of the Middle East program of the Center for Wilson, Yusuf Kan. – Many of these accounts are “lower activists” with a number of subscribers of many ten -ten thousand.

It seems that some accounts seem to be blocked only in Turkey, but not in other countries of the world.

According to the Minister of Internal Communities by Turkey Ali Yerlykaya, authorities found 326 accounts on social networks that motivate hate, 72 overseas. The coordinated actions of cybers and security agencies have led to the arrest of 54 suspects related to these accounts on social networks.

Remember, someday, the mayor of Istanbul, Imamoglu, is confined from such accusations as bribery and assistance to a terrorist group. However, he rejected these allegations, calling them “vandalism.”

The opposition party Chp (Cumhuriyet Halk partisi) called the arrest of Istanbul mayor an attempt by a coup, and protests exploded in many cities of the country.
