The transfer of the Swedish aircraft of a distant radar detection of the SAAB 340 AEW & C (ACS 890) is not worth the schedule.
The supply conditions are associated with the preparation of some modifications of F-16 fighters for interacting with them.
This was reported by the Swedish Ministry of Defense in the commentary of Delphi.
The transfer of these specialized aircraft was announced in May last year as part of the military assistance of Sweden.
The supply time of the ASC 890 is due to when certain modifications of F-16 fighters are ready. There is no delay in the transfer of DRLV aircraft to Ukraine – the comment says.
The Swedish Ministry of Defense added that they work in accordance with the schedule. But for security reasons, they will not report “when and where certain actions will take place or occur.”
Sweden also helps the training of Ukrainians in pilots, training of service personnel and on -board equipment operators, the country’s Ministry of Defense said.
ASC 890 will provide Ukraine with completely new opportunities for managing the air radar and fighting fighters.
Also during the reflection of the massive rocket and unmanned attacks of Russians. They will also expand your general understanding of the situation in the airspace.
Nevertheless, the use of DRLV aircraft in Ukraine and their combat work, along with preservation, will add tasks to the relevant services of Ukraine. In the end, these planes will immediately become a priority purpose for Russian invaders.
Moreover, during a full-scale war with Ukraine, they lost several of their own aircraft with a remote radar detection of the A-50.
