Turkey’s opposition strives to create “political manipulations,” said Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan commented on the mayor of Istanbul Ekrem Imamoglu and said the government would not waste time on the opposition show. TRT Haber reported it.

According to him, the opposition is trying to create “political manipulations.”

“We don’t have time for the opposition show. They are trying to show internal disagreements or the law resistance as the whole country’s problem. Their ambitions literally captured their mind,” Erdogan said.

The Turkish President is confident that the People’s Republican Party and its representatives cannot respond to the accusations of corruption and lies appointed by the judicial authorities.

“If they say the diploma is received according to the procedure or that there is no corruption in the municipality, it can be discussed at the expert level. But they do not do it because they can’t,” the politician said.

Erdogan also emphasized that the government is focused on work and its strategic purpose, and not to “opposition hobbies.”

Remember that in Turkey they have stopped the mayor of Istanbul Ekrem Imamoglu, who is the main opponent of President Erdogan. The Republican party of the opposition has called it an attempt by a coup, and the protests have exploded in many cities of the country. Protesters called the opposition’s detention “a blow to democracy.”
