In the White House, they said that “for a few weeks” in the war between Russia and Ukraine there would be a “complete stop”.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said if achieving a complete stopping will be realistic within a few weeks. He spoke about his attitude to the situation on Wednesday, March 19 in online conversation with journalists.
“We talked about our next steps in a slight stopping. We received signals from the American side that, most likely, we are talking about the silence of energy, energy infrastructure. I told Trump that civilian infrastructure is a comprehensive concept,” he said.
According to Zelensky, the Ukrainian side should prepare a list of things it considers the priority – it can be a railroad, port infrastructure.
“As our first meeting in Saudi Arabia. We went to stop the ceasefire and silence in the sky and the sea, and came out with a sense that we could go more and we could complete the silence. Therefore, it could be the same here,” he said, noticing that there would be no document even about slight termination.
“I really hope that in the coming days there will be a meeting in Saudi Arabia, and we can agree,” he added.
Remember that the President of Ukraine now held a phone talk to President Donald Trump and emphasized that Ukraine had agreed to a cease through civil energy and infrastructure.
