France will place nuclear weapons near the border with Germany.
By 2035, 116 Air Force in Lux-Le Ben in France will update Rafal fighters with a hypersonic nuclear missile. This base will be a “home” for these aircraft, which are the “key components” of the French nuclear restraint forces. This was stated by French President Emmanuel Macron, BFMTV reports.
It is noted that in the modernization of this important military facility, Paris will invest 1.5 billion euros. In the future, two new Rafale squadrons, consisting of about 40 aircraft, will be placed at this air base.
Macron also said that France would increase the order of Raphael aircraft, which, according to him, must necessarily be in the face of a geopolitical “turning point”.
According to the French media, three air tabs are currently involved in the atomic restraint system in France:
- Saint-Twi in the Upper Department;
- “Istr” in the Bush-Di Rron department;
- “Avard” in the department of Shera.
Recall that the telegraph said that the French government is ready to use its nuclear restrictions to protect Europe and transfer its nuclear fighters to Germany.
Paris believes that the deployment of fighters in Germany will not only be a signal for the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, but also such a decision will press the United Kingdom and force London to take the same actions.
