The Bundestag should make an important decision that will strengthen Europe’s security and increase the assistance in Ukraine, Annalen Berkok said.
German Bundestag on Tuesday, March 18, should make an important decision that will strengthen Europe’s security and increase Ukraine assistance by at least 3 billion euros. It was said by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany Annalena Berobok before the EU Council for Foreign Affairs meeting in Brussels on March 17.
“Open in a historical decision, we incorporate our security to basic law with the help of an amendment to the Constitution, which is comprehensively covering security, enhances it, provides more support to Ukraine and provides significant additional funding for infrastructure.
According to him, this decision was to finally provide another three billion euros in 2025.
“So, Germany will provide Ukraine 7 billion euros, like last year … Strong and Sovereign Ukraine is our goal. It requires a position of power, especially for negotiations with Putin’s Russia,” Berbok said.
At the meeting of Generals of the G7 Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Canada, from which Berobok came to Brussels, everyone confirmed the desire for peace in Ukraine and the world in Europe, he said.
“We have made it clear that the ceasefire is different from a peace agreement,” Berbok said and added that there are no disagreements with Canada between European partners in this position. The world could not be reached by the viewers of Europeans on the continent where the war was, he added.
According to him, including after the G7 Ministerial meeting in Canada, it felt that there was a new phase of security, and Europeans should be more actively taking safety in their own hands.
Remember that German’s future Chancellor Friedrich Mertz on Friday, March 14, said that with Germany’s Social Democratic Party, he was listed by Green Party support, according to his radical plan to increase defense and infrastructure costs.
