A suspect of the murder of activist Demyan Galan, who occurred today, March 14 in Odessa, is a military man who left part of his part.
The head of the National Police of Ukraine Ivan Vikhovsky announced this during a briefing.
According to Vikhovsky, the detainee is a soldier of one of the military units of 1978.
On February 23, 2025 he was wanted as a man who left a military unit, the head of the national police said.
Vikhovsky said that the suspect was detained in hot persecution in five hours – about 16.00.
The motives of the murder are currently being installed.
We will recall that earlier today the Ministry of the Interior reported the detention of the suspect in the murder of Galan. It is noted that a weapon was found in the apartment where he was hiding, with the help of which the crime was probably committed.
