Community Secretary Howard Lutnik assured a CNN commentary that the American president in Ukraine did not interfere.
US president Donald Trump will not ask that Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky resigns after their fighting in the White House. This was announced by the US Minister of Trade Howard Lutnik in an interview with CNN.
Thus, the officer reacted to the question of whether Trump could see Zelensky’s departure to resign.
“He does not intervene in Ukrainian politics, therefore not.
According to him, Trump aims to “discuss what steps to take and should react” in the context of a possible end of help in Ukraine.
“He aims to understand for himself what tools he can use in relation to Russia and what tools he can operate in Ukraine to finally force them to sit at the negotiation table,” Lutnik said.
Reminding, Trump said earlier that it was necessary to hold an election in Ukraine because the rating of confidence for Zelensky was said to have fallen to 4%.
Later, Trump called Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky a “dictator”, because he did not want to hold an election.
