The Security Service collected evidence and reported suspicion of the Russian propaganda singer Grigory Lepveverze (better known under the Leps pseudonym).
According to the case, he publicly supports a complete invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, and also justifies and finances the Russian war.
This was documented, as after one of the concerts in the summer of 2023, they promised to pay to the racists for a million Russian rubles for every destroyed tank of the armed forces on the cameras of the rose.
In addition, he repeatedly transferred the occupation group of the Russian Federation “Humdog” in the form of bulletproof vests, sets of underwear and food.
Leps regularly tells this during his interview with Russian propagandists.
Based on the collected evidence, security investigators reported Khristor Lepverdze in absentia suspicion in accordance with two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 3 of art. 110-2 (financing of actions taken for the purposes of violent changes or overthrowing the constitutional order or seizing state power, changes in the boundaries of the territory or state border of Ukraine);
- Part 3 of art. 436–2 (justification, legal recognition, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the glorification of its participants).
Since the suspect is hiding from justice in Russia, comprehensive measures are being taken to hold him accountable for crimes against our country.
The investigation was conducted by SBU employees in the Ternopil region under the procedural management of the regional prosecutor’s office.
