European leaders should “calmly offer a systematic general” position for upcoming negotiations, Poland’s prime minister is convinced.
Participants at the Summit in London did not discuss the security of Ukraine. It was said by Polish prime minister Donald Tusk, TVN24 report.
“A separate issue is a discussion of future security guarantees for Ukraine. Now this is not the subject of debate. I will warn our partners against creating illusions of guarantees, if not everyone is sure they can cope with a challenge. Now no one is focused on the expressions, which should put or arrange something.”
He added that now everyone has a feeling that no one has a plan of action. According to him, the “feeling of excitement, an incorrect approach” sometimes causes emotions similar to those who observe the “bad sight” in Washington a few days ago.
Poland’s prime minister announced the need to suggest a format in which Europe, Türkiye and Canada could develop a “specific negotiation plan” in Russia.
According to Tusk, European leaders should “calmly offer a systematic general” position for upcoming negotiations. This will impress Donald Trump, the politician is sure.
Tusk also added that there is now no unity among EU leaders to arrest Russia’s ownership in Europe. Some of them are “afraid of the consequences for the euro or banking system, not wherever there is enthusiasm for this decision.”
“Poland insists that this is always, but we will be realistic: because we do not enter the Euro Zone, our voice in this discussion will not be important,” the Polish prime minister admitted.
Note that important negotiations were held in London – the summit of European leaders in Ukraine. It also has President Vladimir Zelensky.
Subsequently, German Chancellor Olaf Sholts, based on the results of the summit in London, expressed hope that the cessation of hosses could be the starting point for potential peace negotiations in Ukraine.
