In the United States throughout their history, there has never been a state language approved at the federal level.
US president Donald Trump has signed a mandate in recognition of the English State Language in the country. The document on Saturday, March 1, was published on the White House website.
“This command refers to English as the official language of the United States,” the document said.
The order has noted that English has been used as a national language since the establishment of the United States, and also that the document has been signed with the intention of “developing a common American culture for all citizens, guaranteeing a government -followed and created a path of civic activity in favor of America.”
This order also canceled the impact of a document that guarantees access to public services of people with limited English.
According to the US Census Bureau, people in the country are talking in more than 350 languages. The most common language other than English is Spanish, Chinese, duration, Vietnamese and Arabic.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is talking to international partners to introduce the Ukrainian language as a foreigner in other countries’ schools.
