President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the Ukrainian house in Washington.
On Saturday, March 1, the head of state met with the Ukrainian community. During the meeting, he emphasized that it is important for Kyiv that “Ukraine sounds and no one forgets about it during the war or after.” The President said on Facebook.

During the meeting, the President and Diaspora spoke about the assistance of Ukraine by the United States and the indifference of the American people during all three years of full invasion of the Russian invasion, unity with European partners, the role of the Ukrainian community in support of our country and efforts to return Ukrainian children.
The meeting was also attended by the former commander of the Aerial Intelligence group of the 47th separate mechanized Magura brigade Andrei Smolensk, which is treated in the United States after serious injuries. The president called him a hero and emphasized that such heroic people inspired.
Zelensky thanked the community for the support “at this difficult time for all efforts for the sake of Ukraine and Ukrainians.” He expressed gratitude for his help – not only diplomatic and financial, but also political and prayer.
We will recall that on February 28, during a meeting of President Vladimir Zelensky with the American colleague Donald Trump, disputes about the Russian Ukras war arose in the White House. This came to the fact that the leaders of the two countries spoke high colors. Trump decided that Zelensky was not ready for the world, after which the Ukrainian delegation was supposed to leave the White House.
After the scandalous meeting, Zelensky said that Ukraine was still ready to sign an agreement with the United States to minerals, and this will be the first step to security. Nevertheless, he emphasized that this would not be enough without security guarantees.
The president also noted that no one wants the end of the war than we Ukrainians.
