What is the state of the pension system now?
The Center for Economic Strategy held an event about the future of the Pension System of Solidarity.
Leading IED researcher Alexander Bethie spoke about the main problems of the system.
According to the strategy of demographic development, 31 million people live in Ukraine. The ratio of capable pensioners is reduced, and in fact, one ESA payer receives one pensioner.
The current system is very complicated. It consists of 10 different subsystems for calculating pensions, 55 types of allowances and about 100 surcharges. People with the same insurance experience can receive various pensions depending on the year of retirement. For example, a 2015 pensioner will receive 5 thousand dollars and 2021 – 9 thousand dollars.
In addition, there is a problem of special payments for individual groups. The judges receive more than 100 thousand UAH, or “pension migrants” 一 People go into radioactive polluted zones before retirement 一, for example, a boyar, 一 and judge a pension as a black -bie 10-20 thousand UH. Despite the fact that the liquidators of Chernobyl -APP, which have no disability, are surcharges 178 UAH. Former security officers also have high pensions, while the military who currently protect Ukraine do not have the same advantages from the difference in laws.
