According to the court’s decision, 48-year-old Vasily H. and 59-year-old Georges S. were punished for eight months in prison. But after five days, they will be able to serve his sentence under arrest at home. They also need to wear an electronic bracelet.
The men threw three plastic bottles filled with liquid nitrogen in the Russian consulate garden in Marseille.
Vasily said he and Georges decided to “do something before February 24” to show their prevention of the Russian war against Ukraine. It is also known that the Georges partner has Ukrainian roots.
After they raided the Russian consulate, the men went to a demonstration in support of Ukraine.
