The Federal Council of Switzerland has announced new steps to simplify the employment of the people of Ukrainians who have been forced to leave the country due to the war. Blick reported it.
Swiss authorities said they were striving to eliminate the need for Ukrainians who found work in the country, to obtain permission from the power of the corresponding canton – which in some cases is also paid.
According to a decision by the Federal Council of Switzerland, those who work with people with protection status S (applying to all Ukrainian refugees) will also change their place of residence in the future, if they are allowed to get a job in another canton.
Earlier, the Swiss cantons were strictly related to when the Ukrainians wanted to change their residential area.
Also, unemployed protection status S needs to be registered with Switzerland state agencies and participate in professional integration or reunion.
In addition, the Federal Council wants to facilitate the entry into the labor market for citizens of the third countries who undergo training in Switzerland and began consultation to change the law.
