Bogdan Krothevich, head of the headquarters of the 12th special purpose brigade AZOV, decided to leave his position after 10 years of service.
Lieutenant Colonel Colonel Bogdan Tavr Completely completes the service and leaves the position of chief of staff of the 12th brigade of a special goal “AZOV”. He joined Azov in 2014 and moved from the infantryman to the platoon commander. The team reported this on February 26 on Telegram.
It was noted that TAVR participated in ATO/OOS key operations and made efforts to develop a unit. He headed the headquarters of Azov in 2021.
After the start of a full -fledged war, he helped in managing the defense of Maripul. In September 2022, he returned from Russian captivity and began the restoration of the combat capabilities of the unit and its scale in the 12th brigade Azov. Krotevich helped in the expansion of the brigade, and during the summer counter, in 2023 he coordinated the actions of the fighters in the battles in the direction of Zaporozgi and made significant efforts to ensure the successful defensive and opposing actions of Azov in the directions of Kremin and Torutka.
Taurus not only participated in the key battles of the war, but also contributed to the reform of the Ukrainian army, inspiring civilians to join the forces of defense, ”the brigade emphasized.
Why Krotevich leaves the post is now unknown.
We recall that in November last year, Major General Dmitry Dmitry Marchenko was released from service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He left the service from his health, but then he did not indicate details about his illness.
