According to the new agreement, the United States want to get from Ukraine “more than they spent their protection.” The media report that such a version of the agreement is unacceptable for Bankova.
The new version of the document proposed by the Americans proposes to unite 100% of the future fund for the United States and distribute contributions of the parties in the fund in the ratio of 2 to 1, where Kyiv receives 2/3 of future income from production, and Washington – the third, which he has already provided in the form of a military help.
The United States propose to establish a fund at the level of $ 500 billion, and the agreement will cover not only minerals, but also oil and gas. At the same time, the problem of security guarantees is beyond such agreements.
Meanwhile, The New York Times reported that the draft agreement included income from the territories that are currently occupied by the Russian Federation. In the case of their de -replacement, the share of receipts from there will be 66%. Ukraine must also contribute to the fund until it reaches $ 500 billion.
It is noted that the United States plan to reinvest part of the income in the restoration of Ukraine, in particular, subsoil and infrastructure.
