The platform of robotic logistics and evacuation “Will-E” was tested in Ukraine.
The new work was protested in conditions close to battle in the field of responsibility of the operational strategic group of hortion troops. The car was bought by HMM Helsehjelp Ukraine Norwegian Foundation. On February 22, the General Stand of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Facebook.
It is noted that the main goal of this technique is to transfer the wounded to the evacuation point where the Meday will wait. According to the military, such the main work helps to save the life of fighters, because during the battle the score passes for seconds.
After the tests, some experience of improving the robotic platform appeared. They were summarized and transferred to manufacturers for further modernization, -sal Konstantin Kishchuk, deputy head of the Military Medical Center of the Main Command Center OSV KHORTYTSA.
Recall that last summer in Ukraine he began to produce a robotic platform Robel H, which is designed to evacuate the wounded soldiers from the battlefield. The robot can carry about 400 kg of lively load, so it can transfer several people at the same time.
