President Volodymyr Zelensky called on Russian aggressors who launched a missile attack on Vinnitsa and killed dozens of people as cattle. He said this in a speech to conference participants in The Hague about Russia’s responsibility for crimes in Ukraine, the Ukrainian leader’s press service reported on Thursday, July 14.
“This morning, Russian missiles hit our city of Vinnitsa. An ordinary peaceful city. Cruise missiles hit two public buildings, houses were destroyed, a medical center was on fire. Cars, trams is burning. It’s an outrageous act of Russian terror. They can’t do these people, it’s cattle. Eight missiles, two of which hit the city center, “Zelensky said.
He recalled that the eighth anniversary of the crash of Russia’s flight MH17 was approaching. The President stressed that this crime, like many others, was caused by Russia’s original crime – the armed aggression against Ukraine.
“We must remember why this crime became possible. We must remember that it was not just. And not an accident. This catastrophe is just one of many catastrophes and tragedies caused by Russia’s main crime – the armed aggression against Ukraine. It all started in 2014 and continues to this day, “he said.
It will be recalled that on July 14, Russia launched a missile attack on Vinnitsa. At least 23 people died, including three children. Another 64 people were injured, 42 are missing.
