A group of people who organized production, wholesale and retail sales of fake batteries under the guise of a famous international brand was exhibited in the Kiev region.

The investigation showed that:
- The defendants created illegal production on an industrial scale on the territory of four layers;
- Professional equipment was used for the production and packaging of fake products. However, safety checks were not carried out;
- A fake product was distributed under the guise of original wholesale parties via the Internet and retail points.
Bab detectives, together with cyber police operatives, conducted searches for production, warehouses and office premises, as well as in places of residence of the involved persons. The searches were carried out in the territory of the regions of KIV, Lviv, Harkiva and Odessa, the department says.
As a result of the search, more than $ 2 million were seized, in particular:
- equipment for the production and packaging of batteries;
- printing with the marking of the international brand;
- components for production;
- more than 37 thousand units of finished products without documentary confirmation of origin;
- Black notes.
The seized products are sent to the necessary legal exams.
Currently, too:
- Law enforcement officers created both the organizers of the scheme and criminals of the crime, who directly performed the production of batteries;
- The web -resource administrator was identified by online battery sales, and retail glasses were installed.
A preliminary investigation in the process of proceedings on the basis of a crime in accordance with part 3 of art. 229 of the Criminal Code (illegal use of a sign for goods and services, which caused significant damage in a particularly large amount). A full circle of involved persons is installed.
