Denmark requires significant investment in air defense systems, as Russia increases military labor faster than NATO.
Denmark plans to provide an additional 50 billion kroons ($ 7 billion) for defense costs within two years due to a growing threat from Russia. This is known by the AFP on Wednesday, February 19.
As Prime Minister Mette Fredericksen said, the country must act fast: “Brave, buy, buy. If better equipment is not available, choose another one that can be obtained as quickly as possible”.
According to him, Denmark requires significant investments in air defense systems, as Russia is building military production faster than NATO.
“Right now, only one thing is important – speed,” Fredericksen said.
Additional costs will raise the Denmark defense budget to 3% of GDP – the highest level in the last 50 years.
Keep in mind that Poland in 2025 will provide a budget of harvesting for $ 46 billion, up to 4.7% of the country’s GDP.
