Nearly 300 thousand Ukrainians work in Germany

Ukrainians in Germany find work in various fields, including industrial production, trade, health care, construction and hotel business.

In Germany in November 2024, the number of working citizens of Ukraine reached 296,000 people, 230,500 more than the start of the Russian invasion in February 2022. Among them, 245,200 people were busy with the mandatory Social insurance. Bild reported it.

It is noted that Ukrainians in Germany are finding jobs in various fields, including industrial production, trade, health care, construction and hotel business.

According to the German Ministry of Internal Affairs, after the onset of Russian invasion of Germany, about 1.65 million refugees from Ukraine were registered. They should receive so -called “Civic Assistance” (Bürgergeld), which is paid to unemployed people.

Remember that in the Netherlands 59% of Ukraine’s refugees are already working. Usually, Ukrainians from 25 to 45 years old are working. Men have worked often with women.

As reported, the Czech Republic and Poland are preparing a decision on the status of Ukraine refugees after the war.
