Europe can send troops to Ukraine after the end of the war.
A group of European countries does not work publicly on the plan for sending troops to Ukraine to ensure security after Work. This initiative is headed by the UK and France. The countries working on the plan do not want to concede and give Russia an advantage, even despite the consent of Moscow to end the war. This was reported by Associated Press with reference to sources.
It is not yet known which countries can send a military contingent to Ukraine. It is noted that Italy has constitutional restrictions on the use of its army, and the Netherlands and Germany need a “green light” from parliament.
According to AP, Europeans began to study the issue of what force they might need, about a year ago. These conversations intensified because some politicians believe that US President Donald Trump can bypass Europe or even Ukraine to complete the agreement with the Russian Federation.
We recall that the German media reported that European countries will be able to provide up to 25 thousand military for a possible peacekeeping mission in Ukraine. This amount will not be enough for the effective completion of the tasks, because at least 120,000 military personnel are required to perform the operation.
