According to him, the Ukrainian “defense” previously collaborated with Thales. Smetanin expressed the joy of the fact that this cooperation turned into the creation of a joint venture.
We recall that in July 2024 it became known that the German care of Reinmetal officially received an order to build an ammunition plant in Ukraine. The order from the Ukrainian government includes the full technical equipment of the enterprise – before commissioning.
And in November last year it was reported that Rheinmetall will soon complete its second plant in Ukraine.
