Hungary delivered additional conditions to Ukraine. The country’s authorities need, among other things, the plan for protecting national minorities.
On February 14, Hungary blocked the opening of the first cluster cluster clusters “regarding the rule of law – the main sphere for Ukraine to enter the EU. RMF FM reported this Saturday, February 15.
“The text of the letter with conditions for Ukraine has received extensive support of the EU countries, except Hungary. It needs to be sent,” the EU diplomat said.
The Brussels Correspondent RMF FM Katazhina Shimanskaya-Borginon first reported that Hungary passed additional conditions in Ukraine. They demanded, in particular, a plan for protecting national minorities.
It can be delayed or prevent the opening of the first cluster in April. Moreover, this is the only first stage of the procedure, which includes two more decisions that must be made united (and therefore under the threat of blocking).
Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Syarto, on his Facebook page, announced the possibility of hindering Ukraine’s entry into the European Union.
