The country unilaterally destroyed a agreement with Russia on the development and functioning of cultural centers.
Moldova’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the closure of the Russian Cultural Center located in Chisinau, following the incident with drones falling into the Moldovan territory. This was reported by the country’s Press Service on Thursday, February 13.
The department emphasized that they unilaterally destroyed the Intergovernmental Agreement in Russia in the creation and functioning of cultural centers, signed in 1998.
“When the procedures are completed, the Russian Cultural Center should stop its activities in our country,” said the Moldovan Foreign Ministry.
The Russian Center for Science and Culture began working in Chisinau in February 2009.
Keep in mind that the drones released by Russia on February 13 violated Moldova’s airspace, two UAVs exploded in the Moldavian territory.
Earlier, Azerbaijan sent Russia’s side to an official note about the end of the Russian house.
