Donald Trump, at a press conference with Abdalla II, spoke again about “eviction”, and the latter made the opposite statement the same day.
Jordan leader, King Abdullah II in Washington met on Tuesday, February 11, with US president Donald Trump. After the meeting, the head of the state said his state was maintaining a “stable position” against the eviction of the Palestinians from Gaza and the west coast. CNN reported it.
Trump, at a joint conference, confirmed his plan to control gases and the ouster of Palestinians from Gaza. Abdullah then did not deny the US president’s idea directly, though he advised to “not run early” and pointed out that alternative sentences were to be presented.
Subsequently, Abdullah told social networks that there was a “only Arab position” against the movement of the Palestinians.
“Restoration of gas without avoiding the Palestinians and the resolution of a difficult situation of humanity should be a priority for everyone,” he said.
Abdullah described the negotiations with Trump as “constructive”.
Trump’s plan suggests that Jordan and Egypt will receive millions of new Palestinian refugees, but both these countries oppose this idea.
Earlier, the Jordan government made a statement that it rejected any forced movement of the Palestinians.
