The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Levente Modger arrived in Ukraine on February 11 to “demand an explanation.” He says that the Ukrainian authorities support and finance shares to discredit the Hungarian government.
According to the diplomat, this “cannot be appreciated otherwise than betrayal.” He also noted that if he does not receive an explanation, he promises to voice the steps of Hungary in response.
Modger wrote a video from Kyiv, claiming that the Hungarian special services recorded a campaign, which was allegedly aimed at undermining the international image of Prime Minister Viktor Orban. According to him, if Kyiv really finances actions aimed at discrediting the Hungarian government, it can be considered as a “blow to the back”.
Hungary is still interested in maintaining good relations with Ukraine, but for this purpose there should be two conditions from Ukraine: to return to the Hungarians of Transcarpathy, which were selected, and Kyiv should immediately stop any activity against the Hungarian government and return for a sincere dialogue, the representative said Hungarian foreign ministries in the video on its Facebook.
Last week, the leader of the control faction Faydeza Matthew Kochish said that Ukraine allegedly spent significant funds on Orban Discedit.
