The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation published information on the completion of the certification process in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
This was reported today, February 6, on the site of the National Center for Resistance.
Thus, according to the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Gorov, during 2024 the problem of Russian passports was “successfully completed” on the tooth and southern Ukraine. At the same time, the annexed autonomous Republic of Crimea was not mentioned in this statement, which indicates the separation of this region from the general certification process, – the central nervous system noted.
Thus, in accordance with the legislation of the invaders, after certification of SO, everyone who did not receive a hostile passport will actually be recognized as “foreigners”:
- This means that the administration of the occupation will have an official basis for mass deportations or other forms of repressions against such persons;
- According to the rules of the invaders, “foreigners” can be in the controlled territory for no more than 90 days, after which they can be forcibly deported to the territory of Russia or postponed for additional pressure.
Thus, CNS emphasizes forced certification – this is not only a tool for assimilation, but also a way to account for the population at TOT:
- This pressure tool allows the invaders to establish the exact number of residents, their age, place of residence and marital status, etc.;
- Such data are also designed to use the enemy for further mobilization measures.
In fact, Russian, engaged in administrations, create the conditions for Ukrainians who are forced to remain in the occupation in order to get a hostile passport and be sent to the front, or get the status of a “illegal” with the risk of deportation in the internal regions, the central nervous system said.
CNS emphasizes that forced certification is a war crime in accordance with international law.
After the deocation, all illegally issued Russian documents will be declared invalid, and citizens raised by the violent actions of the invaders will receive protection from the Ukrainian state – they added to the central nervous system.
