Some Signal Internet Messenger users with Ukrainian numbers received a message from SES of Ukraine with information about a significant reduction in the number of service employees and the need to independently eliminate fires and other emergency situations.
This message is a fake, warns the press service of the Ministry of the Interior.
“We report that the State Emergency Service of Ukraine did not send these messages and did not submit any official statements about the staff reduction or did not change the procedure for response to challenges,” the department says.
The Ministry of the Interior adds that SES currently works in full time and reacts to all citizens’ problems, so in the event of an emergency, they urge to immediately call 101 or 112.
