The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to the statement of the Polish President Andrem Duda that veterans who return from the Russian-Pornean war are pose a threat to Europe.
Ukrainian warriors are not a threat, but a guarantor of security of Europe, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says.
The Department of Foreign Policy recalled that after 2014, when hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians had already gone through the front, there was no significant increase in crime or threats for Poland or Europe.
In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that from the first years of Russian aggression, Ukraine pays priority attention to the adaptation, socialization and integration of soldiers and expects further assistance to partners in this important business.
Ukrainian warriors and veterans are not a threat, but a security factor in Ukraine, Poland and all of Europe. They are the key to the free and stable European future. We are convinced that the bold Ukrainian men and women who have stood for their country and peace from Russian invaders deserve the greatest respect, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summed up.
The end of the war with Russia can lead to a surge of international organized crime. This was previously declared President of Poland Andrzej Dud in a conversation with the Financial Times.
Thousands of people return from the front line. Many of those who fight Russia will have problems with the psyche, ”said Duda.
According to him, many veterans will suffer from PTSD and find themselves in destroyed cities and villages, where there will be no housing, work, no prospects.
