Oleksandr Lukashenko was recognized as the winner in the presidential election.
The Central Election Commission of Belarus officially approved the victory of the dictator, which allegedly gained more than 5 million votes – 86.82%. The decision was made at the CEC meeting on Monday, February 3, reports that the mirror.
Other candidates received:
- Sergey Sirankov – 3.21% (189.7 thousand votes);
- Oleg Gaidakevich – 2.02% (119.3 thousand votes);
- Anna Kanopatska – 1.86% (109.8 thousand votes);
- Oleksandr Khizhnyak – 1.74% (102.8 thousand votes).
3.60% of voters voted against everyone.
We recall that on January 26, the Belorian State Information Agency “BelTA”, referring to “Exitpol”, said that the dictator Alexander Lukashenko won the SO elections, called in Belarus with 87.6%.
The EU was called elections in Belarus, so they were “neither free nor honest.” The European parliament called on the member states and the international community not to recognize future elections and a campaign in Belarus, since they do not comply with the standards of democratic elections.
The OSCE refused to send observers to monitor voting.
