The Czech Republic considers the possibility of creating a new initiative for Ukraine to buy ammunition and call for other EU members to join. It was said by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavsky, reports German Television N-TV.
This is the second initiative of the Czech Republic for the purchase of artillery shells for the Ukrainian army.
“This is a political thing.
According to him, the possibilities of funding a new initiative are now considered.
“Currently, we are studying the opportunity to finance the new initiative to the ammunition, and then see how many shells can be obtained for this money,” the minister said.
Remember that foreign minister Andrei Samiba said Ukraine had received 80% of ammunition promised as part of the Czech initiative.
