In an interview with Romania of Television, presidential candidate Romania Kalin Georgeskustari Mazramatik said that he would stand behind Romania, which is part of Ukraine if he became president.
So, we have Northern Bukovina, we have a Budzhak, we have a northern Marmarosh from the former transcarpathy that remains of the Hungarians, lvils who will remain with the Poles and Little Russia, ”said the George.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has already responded to this statement:
The statements of the Romanian politician Kalina Gerange, who casts doubt on the territorial integrity of our country, is a manifestation of extreme disrespect for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. We consider categorically unacceptable and condemned statements about revision or actions that encroach on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, contradict international norms, the UN Charter, as well as the main democratic values.
In the first round of the presidential election in Romania, the Georgek took first place, but the result was canceled by the Constitutional Court, revealing the fact of Moscow’s intervention in the elections.
The parliament approved the resolution in the first round on May 4.
