Specialists of the Ministry of Defense Department reviewed 61 military facilities who have experienced environmental damage as a result of rocket and bombing and artillery strikes of the Russian Federation.
The amount of damage caused by the Russian Federation of the natural environment in the facilities of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, according to the results of 2024, exceeded 42 billion hryvnias. This was informed through the Department’s Press Service on Thursday, January 30.
Specialists of the Ministry of Defense departments reviewed 61 military facilities that experienced environmental damage as a result of rocket and bombs and artillery strikes of the Russian Federation, and recorded the following losses:

Flowing soils from destruction – 40 billion 260 million 446 thousand 746 hryvnias;

Soil pollution of oil products – 1 billion 564 million 980 thousand 137 hryvnias;

Inorganized emissions of pollutants in atmospheric air – 96 million 850 thousand 34 hryvnias;

The damage caused by the Forest Fund was 145 million 293 thousand 946 hryvnias.
The working group, who conducted the inspection, included representatives of the main director of trush activities, civil protection and environmental safety, the center for supplementing months of month and environmental safety and the inspector of the State environment of Ukraine.
