Migration to Germany is much complicated. Most in the Bundestase on January 29 voted in the radical strengthening of asylum policy in Germany.
348 Bundestag deputies voted for 345 against. Although with a slight advantage, most of them voted to view the refuge policy. The corresponding plan was proposed in the CDU/CSU Union (CDU/CSU). Among other things, this provides for constant border control, the abandonment of those who seek the protection and detention of foreign citizens subject to deportation.
In addition to the CDU/CSU bloc, the free Democratic Party (FDP) and several independent deputies also voted for. Support was given an alternative to Germany (AFD).
Social Democrats (SPD) and the green coalition could not block the proposal. This is the success of the Chancellor Chancellor CDS/CDS Friedrich Merets, who convinced most of the parliament to vote for strengthening the asylum policy.
According to surveys, the majority also supports the closure of the boundaries of Germany for illegal migrants.
This parliamentary request has no mandatory legal force, but voting showed that the idea of prohibiting illegal migration has the majority. This may affect the vote on Friday January 31, when Bundestag will discuss the bill, which already obliges legally.
CDU/CSU seeks to reduce the influx of migrants at the legislative level and simplify the deportation.
After the announcement of the voting results, social democrats (SPD) and green were sharply criticized by Merz. The main argument of critics: CDS/CSS proposal was only thanks to AFD support.
In the hall, condemning screams shouts “bu-u” and “shame”. The head of the SPD Rolf Muttzenikh faction said that CDU/CSU blocked the political center. SPD spring applause was heard in the hall.
When Mertz urged SPD to support his score on Friday, only indignant exclamations appeared in response.
The second proposal of the CDS/CSU unit – the expansion of the powers of security forces – did not find support in parliament.
