Russian businessman Alexander Vinokurov said the sanctions against him were imposed “illegal.”
The European Union court left the proper punishment against businessman Alexander Vinokurov, married to his daughter of Foreign Affairs minister of Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. This was reported by the court service of the court on Wednesday, January 29.
Vinokurov asked the judges to identify the lawsuit by raising penalties as rational, and the decision of the EU Council to introduce sanctions against him for actions, overthrow or threaten the integrity of the territory and freedom of Ukraine, unacceptable.
Lavrov’s son -in -law also claimed that the sanctions against him were imposed illegally, that the EU council had mistaken his assessment, and in addition, the principle of proportionality was violated. However, the appeal was rejected.
