The Italian parliament voted for continuing the supply of military assistance to Ukraine this year.
Today, January 28, the lower house of the Italian parliament finally approved the resolution on Ukraine, which authorized the continuation of the supply of weapons for defense forces until December 31, 2025. This was reported by ANSA.
It is noted that 192 deputies voted for “for” and 41 against. The opposition was not the only one in this matter, because the three parties supported this decision, and two voted against.
It is known that Italy helps Ukraine since the beginning of a full -fledged Russian invasion. Earlier, the government was supported by the government by the end of 2025. And in December 2024, the Italian government approved the 10th package of military assistance to Ukraine.
We recall that on January 9, the United States of America announced the next military assistance package of Ukraine in the amount of $ 500 million. This was the last assistance during the presidency of Joe Biden.
