Kallas added that penalties will continue to eliminate income in Moscow to finance a full war in Ukraine.
“Russia must pay for the damage it caused,” the officer concluded.
Earlier, the media reported that Hungary at the last moment agreed to approve the extension of sanctions against Russia. Budapest will make concessions in exchange for a statement that responds to its concerns about “energy security.”
It was later found that Hungary called on the EU to put pressure on Ukraine to maintain Russian oil transit and conduct a gas transit dialogue.
