About two thousand powerful unstoppable bombs will be delivered by sea transport to Israel in the coming days.

United States President Donald Trump has ordered the Pentagon to lift the ban introduced by the administration of previous President Joe Biden on the supply of 2000-pound bombs to Israel. On Saturday, January 25, Axios reported with reference to its own sources.

According to Israeli officials, 1800 MK-84 bombs stored in warehouses in the United States will be delivered by sea transport to Israel in the coming days.

President Biden’s decision to stop the supply of such bombs in May last year adds to a serious crisis in American-Israeli relations.

The Biden administration is concerned that the use of powerful 2000-pound bombs in densely populated areas of Gaza will lead to significant casualties among the civilian population.

The Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and his supporters announced the so-called American “Embargo for the Supply of Arms” to Israel.

MK-84-an uncontrolled air bomb weighing 2000 pounds (925 kg). This is the largest in the series of the type mark.

At the same time, the Israeli edition of the Jerusalem Post in June of last year wrote that the United States, among other things, provided at least 14 thousand 2000-pound bombs MK-84.

Before this, the media, citing US and Israeli officials, wrote that the Biden administration is still considering the transfer of 1800 2000-pound bombs.
