US presidential ally Elon Musk has been rejected by the office in the West Wing of the White House. His Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE) will be placed in Eisenhower’s Executive Office Building, The Times reports.
The corresponding decision was made by Donald Trump’s Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles. He realized that he did not accept people who wanted to work alone or become a star.
The publication wrote that Musk was previously looking for its own office near the Oval Office.
It is also noted that when the reporters’ questions were answered at the beginning of the week if Musk received an office in the West Wing, Trump provided a negative answer.
“No. He’s getting office for approximately 20 people we’ll take to make sure they (savings) can be realized,” Trump said.
