In Slovakia today, January 24, tens of thousands of people arrived in the central square of the capital of the city of Bratislav in protest against protesting, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Robert Fitzo.
It is reported by Reuters.
According to the organizers, 60 thousand people came to protest – about the most of all than the previous demonstration two weeks ago.
Protesters shouted: “Fitzo in Russia”, “There is no government”, “Enough Fitzo”
According to local media, rallies were also held in 20 other cities. In total, at least 100,000 people took part in them.
Thus, the protests are approaching the level observed in 2018, when the murder of a reporting journalist caused mass demonstrations and forced Fitz to resign. Fitzo returned to the premiere in 2023.
