Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has appointed his new permanent representative in Crimea.
The post was received by Olga Kurishko. She will continue to implement initiatives already launched and will work to strengthen the body in its key mission – the de-occupation of Crimea, protecting the rights of its residents, the indigenous peoples of Ukraine and supporting reintegration processes. Kuryshko received her education at the National Law Academy of Ukraine named after. Yaroslav the Wise. She worked as a lawyer in the private, public and public sectors, in particular in CrimeaSOS. She started working in the representative office team in December 2021.
She took part in the development of strategic documents on the reintegration of Crimea, and also worked on legal acts to protect the rights of residents of the occupied peninsula. She began working as the permanent presidential representative in Crimea in June 2023.
Let us recall that on December 31, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky dismissed Sergei Popok from the post of head of the Kyiv city military administration. He appointed Timur Tkachenko, who had previously been Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries, as head of the KMVA.
