It is indicated that he signed an order dismissing Major General Alexander Shkirenko from the post of head of the main department of organization and mobilization – deputy head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus. He was enlisted at the disposal of the Minister of Defense.
The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus emphasizes: “In connection with the additional appointment to a higher position.”
Earlier, Alexander Lukashenko said that Belarus does not intend to fight Ukraine, because it does not need this war.
At the same time, Lukashenka believes that “new crusaders” from NATO will attack Russia “through Ukraine and through Belarus.”
