Arms deliveries to Ukraine in 2024 led to a record level of arms exports from Germany.
The German federal government approved exports of military equipment and weapons worth 13.33 billion euros last year, the highest figure ever. More than half of this amount, namely 8.15 billion euros, was sent to Ukraine for defense against Russian aggression. BILD reported it.
It was noted that these data were contained in the response of the German Ministry of Economics to a request from the representative of the Bundestag from the party Die Linke Sevim Dagdelen, which was at the disposal of the agency Deutsche Presse-Agentur.
We remind you that in 2024, Germany allocated about 8 billion euros for arms for Ukraine. But by 2025, the amount of military support for Kyiv from Berlin will be cut in half.
