Vladimir Zelensky published another part of the interrogation of a North Korean soldier captured by the Ukrainian military.
In the video, the prisoner said that he arrived in Russia on a cargo ferry with a total of more than 100 military personnel. Among other things, there were several North Korean soldiers who were trained to use Russian heavy equipment and were transported to Russia by ferry and then by train. He also stated that he did not know that he would fight in Russia and against whom.
He says that he joined the army at the age of 17 and served in a reconnaissance battalion in conscript service. His mother doesn’t know where he is now.
According to the SBU, on January 9, SOF fighters captured one North Korean soldier, another – paratroopers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. South Korean intelligence confirmed this. According to Western intelligence services, about 10 thousand military personnel from the DPRK could arrive in Russia to participate in the war. At the same time, Moscow and Pyongyang have not yet confirmed the participation of the North Korean military in the battles.
