China has executed two men who carried out deadly attacks that killed more than 40 people in November 2024, CCTV reported on Monday, January 20.
The attacks took place in the cities of Zhuhai in southern China and in the east of the country. Fang Weiz, 62, died when he crashed his car into a crowd near a sports ground in Zhuhai, killing at least 35 people.
Xu Jiajin, 21, killed eight people and injured 17 others in a stabbing attack at a school in Wuxi. The man failed his exams and did not finish his studies. He was also hanged on Monday.
