Israel has released the first group of 90 Palestinian prisoners under a deal with Hamas. The Times of Israel reported this on Monday, January 20, citing the Israeli Prisons Administration.
The list of those released includes 69 women and one minor girl. In addition, 12 men and eight boys under 18 were released from prison. These people were previously sentenced for crimes against Israeli security.
Before release, law enforcement officers examined the prisoners and they underwent a medical examination.
